Dr. Mayilvahanan

The renowned Indian surgeon Dr. Mayilvahanan Natarajan has made significant contributions to the fields of orthopaedic cancer, medical education, health administration, medical ethics, and the development of custom mega prostheses to prevent amputation for patients with bone tumours. He received the Padma Shri for his work in 2007 from the Indian government. The seventh Vice Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University was Mayilvahanan Natarajan, an elected fellow of the National Academy of Medical Sciences. Natarajan was awarded the coveted title of "Pharma Leaders Indian of the Year - Orthopedics" at the Satya Brahma-founded Pharma Leaders Power Brand Awards 2018.
